Reflection on “…and by island I mean paragraphs”

This article was very up and down for me. I liked a lot of it and dislike a lot. I’ll start with what I like. I liked that it was put on a map. I think that’s a very interesting and cool concept. I liked the pilot mode. That mode is so you can move around and navigate around the map. I also like that some of the paragraphs have stories about the people that lived there and also the description of the island and also what happened to the island during the years. It really brought a lot of light to what whose islands are and what they have and the people that lived there have been though. One thing I noticed with the paragraphs was that the personal stories seemed connected in a way. Like that person was on every island or he was the main character or the narrator or something.

There were a lot of bad things about this article. As I started reading it went good, but then the wording changed it surprised me. I would only get to about half way and the reading would change again. After awhile it got really frustrating trying to get to the same text, but never finding it because of what Tyler said It’s a big algorithm with a lot of text changes. I also found out the part were there was a paragraph that didn’t move you needed to click it. I thought I was getting a break when reading that one compared to the others. Turns out that I wasn’t. I think that should have been implemented into the instructions at the beginning of the article. I didn’t like that there wasn’t a since of direction on were to go in the article. Over all there was more bad things then good, but the good things stuck out to make it a toss up for me at the end.
